Dr. Sharon Lachette

Dr Sharon Lachette is a native of White Haven PA.  She grew up with 3 brothers who all helped run the family business, the East Side Inn bar and restaurant.  She received her Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Medical Technology from Moravian College in Bethlehem, PA and her Veterinary Medicine Degree (VMD) from the University of Pennsylvania, School of Veterinary Medicine in Philadelphia. Before becoming a veterinarian, she worked as a medical technologist for several years in Pennsylvania and Arizona. She also worked for Warner Lambert (now Pfizer Pharmaceutical) conducting biological research and supporting regulatory affairs. Dr. Lachette founded White Haven Veterinary Hospital in 1994. Today it is a state of the art Hospital located on Rt. 940, one mile east of White Haven. The hospital is a full service facility, providing surgical, medical and emergency care to dogs, cat and exotics pets. Its sister facility in the same building, The Pocono Pet Lodge, provides boarding and grooming along with puppy and adult dog training classes.  Dr. Lachette continues to own and operate the veterinary hospital and pet lodge. Dr Sharon and her husband George Veneroso reside in White Haven along with their cat Rocco.  When Sharon is not working, she loves to take long walks with her husband. She also loves to travel, cook and spend time with close friends.

 

 

Dr. Shelley Sobieray

Michelle Sobieray is originally from Indiana, Pennsylvania. She received her undergraduate degree in Biology/Pre-Vet from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania in 2006. In 2010, Dr. Sobieray then obtained her veterinary degree from the University of Pennsylvania. After graduation, she moved to Hazleton, Pa where she had practiced for five years. In her spare time, Dr. Sobieray enjoys running, painting, reading, and practicing yoga. She loves to spend quality time with her cat, Twinkie.

Dr. Jolene Rettig

Dr. Jolene Rettig is a relief veterinarian who dedicates her career to help numerous animal hospitals. She enjoys this as she is constantly learning. Dr. Rettig grew up in Northeast Pennsylvania and loves being a veterinarian! Her hobbies include spending time with her family, traveling, and taking care of her pets. Dr. Rettig is currently under going training to become a certified aquatic veterinarian.
